FSCE09 – Medical Specialist - Unmanned Aerial Systems 

JOB TITLE: Medical Specialist – Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) 

 

LOCATION: Portsmouth, NH  

DESCRIPTION: 

  • FSR Deployment Processing:
    Pre-planning for FSR pre-deployment and post-deployment medical/dental visits, as well as periods between deployments, in compliance with applicable travel requirements (CENTCOM MOD 10).
    Managing processing cycle time, office workflows, and patient access to requisite medical/dental authorities.
    Assisting assigned provider and care team with patient care procedures, including electronic documentation for Martin’s Point.
    Ensures all consults, charts, and vaccination records are scanned, downloaded and communicated in preparation for FSR deployment.
    Interface/coordinate with DPC/CRC activities with regards to medical processing.
    Initiating and processing waivers in support of deployment packages.

 

  • Deployment Medical Requirements:
    Establishing and maintaining a library of references and requirements attributed to travel requirements for federal and commercial contractors (CENTCOM MOD 10). 

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Education:
    Military Hospital Corpsman (Field medical service technician), preferably with experience deployed in CENTCOM AOR. 
    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

 

  • Clinical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities - Demonstrated abilities:
    Related experience in a physician's office, medical setting or outpatient clinic required.
    Preparation of patient health information via electronic record keeping.
    Scheduling of patient appointments.
    Knowledge of CENTCOM MOD 10 (latest version) travel requirements and waivers.

 

  • Communicating with OEM Site Offices, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

 

  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

 

  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate for the FSR and the company.

 

  • Must be located within commuting distance of Portsmouth, NH
